Our Team
Our team has worked in a variety settings, including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, community-based behavioral health agencies, substance-abuse programs, private practice, educational settings, and correctional settings. We also have experience teaching psychology courses at the undergraduate level. Additionally, members of our team have published a variety papers and participated in professional conferences.
Matthew J. Mauriello, MA

Matthew is a Pennsylvania Licensed Professional Counselor (#PC005810) and Licensed Behavior Specialist (#BH000583). Matthew graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the Pennsylvania State University in 2004 in the top one-half percent of his class. He then earned his Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 2006. He became a National Certified Counselor (NCC# 252623) in 2009. He is also a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS# 15107) and a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider (CSOTP #707991).

Andrea L. Brannen, MA

Andrea is a Pennsylvania Licensed Professional Counselor (#PC008098). She is also a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC# 8888). Andrea received her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 2003. She then received her Master of Arts in Forensic Mental Health Counseling from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 2010. Andrea has experience providing individual and group counseling to both adolescents and adults.

Tiffany D. Ray, MSEd

Tiffany is a Pennsylvania Licensed Professional Counselor (#PC007821). She is also a Certified Secondary School Counselor (PID# 11616391). Tiffany received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with studies in Pre-Medicine from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 2002. She then received her Master of Science in Education with studies in School and Mental Health Counseling from the University Of Pennsylvania in 2011. Tiffany has experience providing individual and group counseling to adults. She specializes in the treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress disorder as she is certified by the University of Pennsylvania Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety as a Prolonged Exposure therapist.

Gwen J. Cross, MA
Licensed Professional Counselor
Gwen is a Pennsylvania Licensed Professional Counselor (#PC008634). Gwen has a Master of Arts in Community Psychology from Temple University and has over 20 years of experience working in a variety of clinical settings. Her areas of specialty include trauma, addictions, behavioral excesses, grief counseling, pain management, anxiety and depression. Gwen has certification in advanced trauma treatment utilizing neurobiological and sensorimotor applications as well as mindfully-based techniques including Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. In addition, she employs Motivational Interviewing, Relapse Prevention Therapy, and Cognitive-Behavioral applications in conjunction with psychodynamic approaches and the clinical use of creative expression for the treatment of trauma and co-occurring disorders. Gwen has experience providing individual, couples, and group counseling for adult and adolescent populations. She provides training through the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), and has supervised professionals within the mental health and addiction fields.

Brandi J. Mauriello, MA

Brandi is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennysylvania (#PC012104) and a Professional Counselor of Mental Health in Delaware (#PC-0011363). She has been practicing for over 10 years. Brandi graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wesley College in 2007 and then earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 2009. Her counseling style is sincere, supportive, and empowering. She believes that everyone has the skills inside of them to reach their goals and is passionate about her work, especially helping others succeed. She has experience working with individuals experiencing a number of concerns, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and relationship issues. She specializes in treating PTSD; especially those who have survived sexual, physical, and/or emotional abuse. Her method is a combination of cognitive-behavioral, prolonged exposure, client centered, and solution focused treatment. She will use a specially tailored combination of these to meet your needs.
